The 14th
Judicial Circuit Nominating Commission is seeking qualified
candidates to fill a judicial vacancy in the
14th
Judicial
Circuit as a result of the resignation of Circuit Judge
Glen Hess. The 14th
Judicial
Circuit encompasses Florida's Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Holmes,
Jackson & Washington counties.
Applicants must be a registered Florida voter and have been
a member in good standing of The Florida Bar for the
proceeding five (5) years. Applicants must also reside in
the 14th
Circuit before
assuming office. Every applicant must file a new
application for this vacancy even if the applicant has
previously applied with the Commission for another
position.

An original and nine (9) copies of the completed
application, with photograph attached, must be delivered to

Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at 304 Magnolia
Avenue, Panama City, FL. 32401. Applications submitted
after the deadline will not be considered.
Candidates are highly encouraged to submit their
applications as early as possible. Members of the
bench, bar and public are encouraged to contact the members
of the Commission concerning applications for judicial
